User Insights

User Insights helps you understand how your team is actually using the Tellus platform. You've invested in a compliance tool — User Insights shows you whether people are logging in, which modules they're using, and where adoption might be lagging.
A compliance platform only works if people use it. If your site managers haven't logged in for two weeks, they aren't reviewing imports or approving chemicals. If employees never open SafePath, they aren't completing their training. User Insights makes these gaps visible so you can address them with targeted follow-up.
Active Users
The active users section shows how many of your team members are regularly engaging with the platform:
- Daily active users — How many unique users logged in today
- Weekly active users — Unique users who logged in during the past 7 days
- Monthly active users — Unique users who logged in during the past 30 days
- Inactive users — Users who haven't logged in for more than 30 days
Each metric is accompanied by a trend indicator showing whether engagement is increasing, stable, or declining compared to the previous period.
Login Activity
A timeline view of login activity across your organization:
- Login frequency — How often each user logs in on average
- Last login — When each user most recently accessed the platform
- Login by time of day — When your team is most active (useful for scheduling training or system maintenance)
- Login by device — Whether users access from desktop or mobile
Users who haven't logged in recently are highlighted. This is particularly useful for identifying employees who may have missed training notifications or import review requests because they simply haven't opened the platform.
Module Usage
Module usage shows which parts of the platform your team uses most — and which they may be overlooking:

This breakdown helps you understand whether your team is using the full platform or only certain features. For example, if your team actively manages chemicals in ChemIQ but never opens Insights, they may be missing compliance alerts.
Team Adoption
The team adoption view tracks how well your organization has onboarded to the platform overall:
- Invitation acceptance rate — What percentage of sent invitations have been accepted
- Onboarding completion — How many users have completed their initial setup
- Feature discovery — Which features users have tried at least once
- Engagement score — A composite metric that combines login frequency, feature usage, and task completion
Low adoption numbers usually point to one of three issues: users don't know the platform exists, they don't understand why they should use it, or the onboarding experience didn't stick. Each situation calls for a different response — a reminder email, a training session, or a quick refresher guide.
Who Sees What
User Insights is restricted to Admin users only. Other roles cannot view login activity or usage patterns for other team members.
