Accept an Invitation

When someone invites you to their company on Tellus, you receive an email with a link to join. Here's how to accept it.


Steps

  1. Open the invitation email from Tellus EHS
  2. Click the invitation link in the email
  3. You'll be taken to Tellus with two options:
    • If you already have a Tellus account — Log in with your existing email and password. After signing in, you're automatically added to the company with the role your administrator assigned.
    • If you're new to Tellus — Create an account by entering your full name, email, and a password (minimum 8 characters). After verifying your email, you're added to the company.
  4. Once accepted, you can see the company's data based on your assigned role

Your Role and Access

Your administrator chose a role for you when they sent the invitation. This role determines what you can see and do:

If you think your role doesn't match your responsibilities, ask your company's Tellus administrator to update it.


Invitation Expired?

Invitation links are valid for 7 days. If your link has expired:

  1. Don't worry — your data hasn't been affected
  2. Ask your company's Tellus administrator to resend the invitation from AdminHQ > People > Pending Invites
  3. Check your email for the new invitation link

Already Part of Another Company?

If you already use Tellus with a different company, accepting a new invitation adds the second company to your account. You can switch between companies using the company selector in the header bar. See Switching Between Companies for details.


Troubleshooting

  • "Invitation not found" error — The link may have expired or been canceled by the administrator. Ask them to resend.
  • Wrong email address — The invitation was sent to a specific email. If you're trying to use a different email, ask the administrator to send a new invitation to the correct address.
  • Already accepted — If you click the link again after accepting, you'll see a message that the invitation has already been used. Just log in normally.
