Course Player (My Training)

For: Employee, Contractor | Tier: Standard and Pro

The Course Player is the employee-facing training experience. When you are assigned a course, this is where you take it — working through lessons, watching videos, reading materials, and completing quizzes to demonstrate your understanding.

My Training Page​

Your My Training page is your personal training hub. It lists every course assigned to you, organized by status:

  • Not Started — Courses you have not opened yet, with their due dates
  • In Progress — Courses you have started but not finished, showing your progress (e.g., "3 of 7 lessons complete")
  • Completed — Courses you have finished, with your completion date and score

Click Start on any course to begin, or Resume to pick up where you left off. Courses with approaching due dates appear at the top of the list.

Taking a Course​

When you start a course, you are guided through the content in order:

  1. Read or watch each lesson — Text lessons, video lessons, and PDF/slide materials are presented one at a time. Work through them at your own pace.
  2. Take quizzes — When you reach a quiz, answer each question and submit. You will see your score immediately.
  3. Meet the passing score — Most courses require a minimum quiz score (typically 80%) to count as complete. If you do not pass, you may be able to retake the quiz depending on the course settings.
  4. Receive your certificate — Once you have completed all lessons and passed all quizzes, a completion certificate is generated automatically. You can view and download it from your training history.

Progress Saving​

Your progress is saved automatically as you work through a course. If you need to step away — whether for a shift change, a meeting, or the end of the day — you can close the course and return later. You will pick up exactly where you left off.

There is no need to complete a course in one sitting. Take it at your own pace, as long as you finish before the due date.

Quiz Experience​

Quizzes in SafePath are straightforward:

  • Multiple choice — Select the correct answer from the options provided
  • True/false — Determine whether a statement is correct
  • Immediate feedback — After submitting, you see which answers were correct and your total score
  • Passing threshold — Your trainer sets the passing score (commonly 80%). You must meet or exceed it.
  • Retakes — If allowed by the course settings, you can retake a quiz to improve your score

Completion Certificates​

When you complete a course and meet the passing requirements, SafePath generates a completion certificate automatically. This certificate includes:

  • Your name
  • The course title
  • Your completion date
  • Your quiz score (if applicable)

You can view and download your certificates at any time from your My Training page under the Completed section. These certificates serve as your official training record and may be requested during OSHA inspections.

Tips for Employees​

  • Check your My Training page regularly — new courses may be assigned at any time
  • Pay attention to due dates — overdue training is flagged for your manager
  • If a quiz question is unclear, review the lesson material before retaking
  • Your training history is always available — you do not need to keep paper copies of your certificates
