Training Reports
For: Trainer, Manager, Admin | Tier: Standard and Pro
Training Reports give you the documentation you need to prove compliance, prepare for audits, and keep leadership informed. SafePath provides four report types that cover everything from individual employee histories to company-wide completion analytics.
Why Training Reports Matter
When OSHA inspects your workplace, one of the first things they ask for is proof of training. They want to see:
- Who was trained on what topics
- When the training occurred
- Whether employees passed competency assessments
- Whether certifications are current
Paper sign-in sheets and scattered spreadsheets make this stressful. SafePath reports generate this documentation instantly — organized, filterable, and ready to hand over.
Report Types
Completion Report
Shows which employees have completed which courses, and when. Use this report to:
- Verify that all employees at a site have completed required training
- Identify who has not completed their assignments
- Track completion rates by site, course, or time period
Training Transcript
A per-employee training history. For each employee, the transcript shows:
- Every course they have completed
- Completion dates and quiz scores
- Certifications earned
- Any overdue or incomplete assignments
Training transcripts are especially useful when an individual employee is involved in an incident, or when you need to verify a specific person's training record during an inspection.
Certification Report
A summary of all certifications across your organization, with status:
- Active certifications currently in force
- Expiring Soon certifications within 30, 60, or 90 days of expiry
- Expired certifications that have lapsed
Use this report to plan renewal training and ensure no critical certifications fall through the cracks.
Activity Log
A chronological record of all training activity in your organization:
- New assignments created
- Courses started and completed
- Quizzes passed and failed
- Certifications added or expired
The activity log is useful for management reviews and for reconstructing a timeline of events if questions arise about when specific training occurred.
Filtering Reports
All reports support flexible filtering to narrow your results:
| Filter | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Date range | Show activity within a specific time period |
| Site | Focus on a single site or location |
| Course | View results for a specific course only |
| Employee | View results for a specific individual |
| Status | Filter by completion status (Completed, In Progress, Overdue) |
Combine filters to get exactly the data you need. For example: "All overdue HazCom training at the Downtown Warehouse for Q1 2026."
Exporting Reports
Every report can be exported to CSV format for offline use, record-keeping, or sharing with management and auditors.
- Generate your report with the filters you need
- Click
Exportat the top of the results - A CSV file downloads to your computer
Keep exported reports on file as part of your compliance documentation. OSHA inspectors may ask for training records going back several years, and having downloadable exports makes it easy to provide them.
