Which Report Should You Use?
| Scenario | Report Type |
|---|---|
| OSHA inspector asks for proof of training | Completion Report or Training Transcript |
| Manager wants a status update on annual retraining | Completion Report filtered by course and date |
| Insurance auditor requests certification records | Certification Report |
| You need to verify when a specific employee was trained | Training Transcript |
| You want to review all training activity for the quarter | Activity Log filtered by date range |
Tips
- Keep completion reports on file. OSHA inspectors may ask for training documentation going back several years. Export and save reports regularly.
- Use the Training Transcript for incident response. If an employee is involved in a workplace incident, their transcript shows exactly what training they received and when.
- Run the Certification Report monthly. A quick check of expiring certifications helps you plan renewals before anyone lapses.
