Run Training Reports

For: Trainer, Manager, Admin | Tier: Standard and Pro

This guide walks you through generating a training report, filtering the results, and exporting the data for record-keeping or audit preparation.


Steps

  1. Go to SafePath in the main navigation
  2. Click Reports
  3. Select a report type:
    • Completion Report — Who completed what, and when
    • Training Transcript — Full training history for a specific employee
    • Certification Report — All certifications with their status (Active, Expiring Soon, Expired)
    • Activity Log — Chronological record of all training activity
  4. Set your filters to narrow the results:
    • Date range — Focus on a specific time period
    • Site — View results for a single site
    • Course — Filter to a specific course
    • Employee — View results for one individual
  5. Click Generate (or the report loads automatically as you adjust filters)
  6. Review the results on screen
  7. Click Export to download the report as a CSV file

Tips

  • Keep completion reports on file. OSHA inspectors may ask for training documentation going back several years. Export and save reports regularly.
  • Use the Training Transcript for incident response. If an employee is involved in a workplace incident, their transcript shows exactly what training they received and when.
  • Run the Certification Report monthly. A quick check of expiring certifications helps you plan renewals before anyone lapses.
