Update Your Company Profile

For: Admin | Tier: All plans

Your company profile information appears on HazCom plans, exported reports, and compliance documentation. Keeping it current ensures your paperwork is always accurate.


Steps

  1. Navigate to AdminHQ from the main menu
  2. Click Organization in the sidebar
  3. Select the Profile tab (it's the default view)
  4. Update any of the following fields:
    • Legal Company Name — Your official registered business name
    • Display Name — The shorter name used in the Tellus interface
    • Street Address, City, State, ZIP — Your primary business address
    • Phone Number — Main business phone
    • Website — Your company URL
  5. Scroll down to the Identifiers section to add or update:
    • EIN — Your federal Employer Identification Number (format: XX-XXXXXXX)
    • EPA Facility ID — Your EPA-assigned facility identifier (if applicable)
    • D-U-N-S Number — Your Dun & Bradstreet business identifier (if applicable)
    • State License Numbers — Any state-specific licenses relevant to your industry
  6. Click Save

Your changes take effect immediately and appear on any new documents generated after saving.


Tips

  • Legal name vs. display name — Your legal name appears on official compliance documents (HazCom plans, regulatory reports). Your display name is what you and your team see in the Tellus header and navigation.
  • Identifiers are optional but recommended — You don't need to fill in every identifier on day one. Add them when you have them, especially before generating compliance reports.
  • EPA Facility ID — If you're unsure whether you have one, check with your state environmental agency or search the EPA's Facility Registry Service.
