Update Your Company Profile
For: Admin | Tier: All plans
Your company profile information appears on HazCom plans, exported reports, and compliance documentation. Keeping it current ensures your paperwork is always accurate.
Steps
- Navigate to AdminHQ from the main menu
- Click Organization in the sidebar
- Select the Profile tab (it's the default view)
- Update any of the following fields:
- Legal Company Name — Your official registered business name
- Display Name — The shorter name used in the Tellus interface
- Street Address, City, State, ZIP — Your primary business address
- Phone Number — Main business phone
- Website — Your company URL
- Scroll down to the Identifiers section to add or update:
- EIN — Your federal Employer Identification Number (format: XX-XXXXXXX)
- EPA Facility ID — Your EPA-assigned facility identifier (if applicable)
- D-U-N-S Number — Your Dun & Bradstreet business identifier (if applicable)
- State License Numbers — Any state-specific licenses relevant to your industry
- Click
Save
Your changes take effect immediately and appear on any new documents generated after saving.
Tips
- Legal name vs. display name — Your legal name appears on official compliance documents (HazCom plans, regulatory reports). Your display name is what you and your team see in the Tellus header and navigation.
- Identifiers are optional but recommended — You don't need to fill in every identifier on day one. Add them when you have them, especially before generating compliance reports.
- EPA Facility ID — If you're unsure whether you have one, check with your state environmental agency or search the EPA's Facility Registry Service.
