ChemIQ is the core chemical inventory software module for managing everything related to chemicals in your workplace. It brings your SDS library, chemical tracking, regulatory compliance, quantity monitoring, label printing, and PPE recommendations into one unified system — so you can stop juggling spreadsheets, filing cabinets, and manual cross-referencing.

Your EHS agent works behind the scenes to parse Safety Data Sheets automatically, organize chemicals by CAS number, flag regulatory requirements, recommend protective equipment, and alert you when quantities approach reporting thresholds. Because OSHA requires an SDS for every hazardous chemical in the workplace, having a system that tracks SDS requirements and coverage gaps is essential. The result: you spend less time on paperwork and more time keeping people safe.

Quick Import​

Multiple ways to get your inventory into Tellus fast — without tedious manual entry:

  • Photo Capture — Walk the warehouse floor and photograph product labels. AI extracts product info automatically.
  • Barcode Scan — Scan barcodes for instant product identification and catalog matching.
  • Excel/CSV Import — Upload existing spreadsheets with column mapping (coming soon).
  • Invoice Upload — Upload purchase order PDFs and AI extracts line items (coming soon).
  • Add from SDS Library — Create inventory entries from SDSs you have already uploaded (coming soon).
  • Copy from Another Site — Duplicate inventory from an existing site to a new one (coming soon).

All imports go through a review queue where managers approve submissions before items enter your final inventory.

Product Catalog​

Your company-wide master list of chemical products:

  • Central catalog of every product your organization uses
  • Each catalog entry includes product name, manufacturer, SDS link, and container sizes
  • Different container sizes are tracked as separate catalog entries (industry-standard SKU pattern)
  • Add chemicals to inventory directly from the catalog

Generate and print compliant labels for secondary containers — on office printers or thermal label printers:
